If you already own a Sony XM tuner, the DRN-XM01CK2 car kit provides everything you'll need to transfer your Sony XM Radio tuner (not included) from one car to another — or to use your home unit in the car. Just install the supplied XM-compatible antenna and connect the docking station to your vehicle's cassette receiver, using the supplied cassette adapter. (If your receiver has an auxiliary input, you can connect the audio signal directly without using the cassette adapter.) Slip the Sony XM tuner into the docking station, and enjoy XM's incredible programming variety in your car.
You must have an XM tuner and a subscription to XM Radio to receive the satellite radio signal. XM Satellite Radio service is available only within the continental United States. Service is not available in Hawaii or Alaska.
