Each one of the three support legs allows for a minor adjustment to plumb the pole when installing on uneven surfaces. A 10" X 10" square area is recommended for installation. Perfect solution for tar, rubber, or other flat style roofs. No drilling needed, simply weigh this down with cinder blocks on it's flat feet. Also the NPRM has a wide base for added stability.
