INFRARED TRANSLATOR Hughes calls this the RF Adapter and the nick name is the Blaster. Whatever you call it, the RF remote sends a signal from any room to the Blaster, where the receiver is located. It changes the RF signal to an IR signal and blasts it all over the room.

The Blaster is the tiny device on the left, with the antenna. You simply plug the Blaster into a wall outlet across the room from your main TV, satellite receiver, VCR and other components. The Blaster picks up the RF signal from the remote, changes it to Infrared and blasts it all over the room. Now you can control 4 Infrared devices, from anywhere. It's Great! Much better than the dedicated RF remote, that only controls the satellite receiver from other rooms.
