Email Alert
Not
receiving email alerts
The
most likely cause for not receiving email alerts is a
misconfiguration of the Email Alert properties. The Email
Alert Property pages allow you to configure the Email Alert
service. It should be noted that the Email Alert
service only alerts you when a new email has been received on your
mail.direcpc.com email account. The following section
describes how to properly configure Email Alert using the Email
Alert Property pages.
How-To
configure Email Alert
- On the Notification
tab of the Email Alert Property page, verify that the Disable
Email Notification checkbox is not checked.
- On the Mail
Configuration tab of the Email Alert Property page, verify
that mail.direcpc.com is entered as the Server Name. The
Account Name(s) should be the POP3 login name for you
mail.direcpc.com account. For example, if your
email address is dpcuser@direcp.com, your account name is
dpcuser. If you have multiple mail.direcpc.com
accounts, enter each account name you are interested in
receiving email alerts for.
