Turbo Internet - Protocol Properties

The Protocol property page supports configuring the following settings:

Protocol

  • Select the dial protocol supported by your ISP for your Internet access.

Point-To-Point (PPP)

  • Enter the user name and password assigned to you by your ISP. If you change your password using your ISP-provided registration utility, then you must change your password in the Password box to match your new ISP password.

Serial Line IP (SLIP)

  • Enter your statically assigned SLIP IP address. If you are using dynamic SLIP, enter the string that prefixes your dynamically assigned IP address. During login processing, Navigator will scan for this string and attempt to automatically capture your dynamically assigned IP address out of the login script sent by your ISP.

Gateway IP Address

  • This address is assigned to you during Auto Setup and typically does not need to be changed.
